Job summary

CFS seeks a Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to join a globally‑focused team. You will lead research on technical pronouncements, prepare financial reports, and support multiple business units worldwide on complex accounting matters.

The role requires robust IFRS/GAAP expertise, a CPA/CMA, and 5+ years in public accounting or industry, with SaaS/tech exposure. Interaction with external auditors and cross‑functional teams is key to success.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s in Accounting or equivalent. MBA welcomed and CPA/CMA preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in public accounting and/or industry roles, with SaaS/tech exposure.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and ability to research technical pronouncements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with external auditors and BIG4 firms.

Responsibilities

• Research technical pronouncements and write memos/white papers.
• Collaborate with BIG4 CPA firms on complex matters.
• Support global business units on complex accounting issues across functions.
• Coordinate with FP&A and GL teams on pronouncements and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly cash flow statements and ad-hoc leadership reporting.
• Handle business combinations and acquisitions support.
• Assist external auditors during annual audits.
• Review complex reconciliations for accuracy.
• Utilize NetSuite and advanced Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities For The Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager

• Researching Technical Pronouncements & Writing Memos and White Papers
• Collaborate with BIG4 CPA Firm on super complex matters
• Work cross functionally to support all business units globally on complex accounting matters
• Work with the FP & A and General Ledger Teams on any complex accounting pronouncements
• Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly cash flow statements along with Ad-Hoc reporting for leadership
• Business Combination experience with any acquisitions
• Work with external auditors for Annual Audit requests and reporting
• Research and Review Complex Reconciliations
• Software - NetSuite & MS Excel
