The Financial Reporting & Systems Analyst serves as the bridge between Finance, Accounting, and technology by supporting financial reporting, business intelligence, financial systems, and process improvement initiatives. This position leverages financial and technical expertise to develop reports, improve data integrity, automate manual processes, and optimize the University’s financial systems to support strategic decision‑making.
The Controller’s Office is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and stewardship of the University’s financial records while supporting the institution’s mission through sound fiscal management. The office oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, general ledger management, accounts payable, financial compliance, banking and cash management, capital assets, audit coordination, and financial systems administration. The Controller’s Office develops and maintains strong internal controls, ensures compliance with University, UNC System, State, and federal regulations, and provides timely, accurate financial information to support executive leadership and strategic decision‑making. Additionally, the office partners with campus stakeholders to improve financial processes, leverage technology, enhance reporting capabilities, and promote operational excellence across the University.
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2-hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
