Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager in San Antonio, TX. If you are a CPA with a strong public accounting or audit foundation, you will own the financial reporting process and partner with leadership on GAAP compliance and technical accounting.

You will lead month-end close, coordinate audits, and drive improvements across multi-entity reporting and NetSuite. This role offers exposure to internal controls, policy development, and strategic financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA license.
• 5+ years accounting experience, including public accounting, audit, or a mix.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support multi-entity accounting, consolidated reporting, and revenue recognition.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Optimize NetSuite reporting and support system enhancements.
• Provide financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and business performance.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting, audit, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, technical accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity environments, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and reporting enhancements.
