Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting in Chicago to own SEC reporting, technical accounting, and external communications in a growth-focused public company.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with executive exposure and opportunities to strengthen internal controls. A CPA and 5+ years of SEC/financial reporting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required; public accounting experience preferred.
• 5+ years of SEC reporting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the preparation and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Help manage quarterly and annual external financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the reporting process.
• Research and document technical accounting matters and disclosure requirements.
• Enhance financial reporting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies.

Target Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 + bonus
