NJM Insurance Group invites students to join the 2027 Paid Summer Intern Program in our West Trenton, NJ office. The internship offers exposure to the accounting function, monthly close responsibilities, and support for financial statements and schedules.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and contributing to meaningful projects with guidance from supervisors. You will assist with monthly and quarterly closes, perform journal entries, and work with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Currently in Sophomore or Junior year.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and collaborative.
• Must commute to West Trenton office.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Record journal entries and perform analysis of financial statements.
• Assist auditors in retrieving requested documentation.
• Perform special projects as required or requested.
• Identify operational efficiencies and automate manual processes.
