Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in financial accounting and reporting is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of broad financial accounting and budget experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and extreme accuracy are essential.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; experience with financial systems (AP, GL, payroll).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly closings.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget analyses.
• Coordinate monthly GL, accounts payable and payroll closings.
• Assist with annual budget preparation and reporting for committees and management.
• Support external audits and provide required reports and analyses.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and internal financial reports.
