Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, banking, finance, economics or related field.
• 5+ years of product sales, customer relationship management in branch banking or related environment.
• Life and Health Insurance licenses preferred; licenses are required to discuss and sell insurance products with customers.
• Substantial customer portfolio experience is a big plus.
• Knowledge of retail banking products, loans, financial reports, and banking regulations.
• Strong sales and marketing as well as business development skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred).

Responsibilities

• Meet with current and potential customers to discuss financial requirements and sell banking products to grow relationships.
• Identify customers with profit potential and develop plans to expand those relationships.
• Conduct needs assessments and refer to licensed WM Financial Consultants as appropriate.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to other sales representatives.
• Maintain superior service and exceed customer expectations in accuracy, efficiency, courtesy and professionalism.
• Open deposit accounts and ensure documentation compliance.
• Participate in bank sales campaigns and promotions and exceed targets.
• Ensure compliance with policies and government regulations.
• Maintain sales tracking records for performance reviews.
• Complete mandatory compliance training and related laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
