Job summary

Global-Lending-Services is seeking an entry-level Financial Planning Specialist in Greenville, SC. You will support department budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis to drive financial performance for the organization.

You will collaborate with accounting and senior leaders, manage cost-saving initiatives, and help monitor headcount and vendor spend. This role is part of our campus recruiting for December 2026 or May 2027 start dates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and data gathering skills.
• Strong Excel skills; VBA/SQL knowledge preferred.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to work with senior management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain department budget process; identify variances and present to senior management; prepare materials for monthly/quarterly communications.
• Monitor monthly expenses with key vendors and identify issues for senior management.
• Collaborate with Accounting to determine and book monthly expense accruals.
• Support vendor management with detailed financial analyses of proposals.
• Monitor monthly spend on third party labor and coordinate with IT on allocations.
• Coordinate cost savings projects with senior management; lead ad hoc initiatives as needed.
• Build and maintain detailed cost forecasts by department.
• Support budgeting process by providing insights on cost trends.
• Maintain analyses to monitor headcount levels and location-based allocations.
