Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) invites rising seniors to join the Global Controllers Internship in Boston. You will engage in hands-on finance work, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and variance analysis, while learning from senior professionals who mentor your growth.

During ten weeks, you will build data views in Excel and Qlik, create PowerPoint presentations, and collaborate across lines of business on a capstone project.

Qualifications

• Junior in college entering senior year in Fall 2027 with a passion for accounting, finance or economics.
• GPA of 3.3 or higher is required.
• Demonstrated leadership through academic and extracurricular involvement.
• Clear and confident communication skills, written and verbal.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable with formulas, charts, and pivot tables.
• Prior coding experience (RStudio) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and allocations.
• Build data views in Excel and Qlik; translate findings into clear PowerPoint presentations.
• Mentor and collaborate with interns; contribute to capstone project and present to senior leadership.
• Develop technical skills in Excel modeling and data analysis to inform decision-making.
