Job summary

Exelon Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Finance Analyst to support forecasting, reporting and analysis across multiple internal sources. You will prepare month-end, quarterly and annual packages and present key financial metrics to executives and business units.

You will collaborate with directors and department heads to ensure proper O&M vs Capital classification, assist in annual budgeting and long-range planning, and contribute to a high-performance finance team with strong controls and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in finance or related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Analytical understanding of finance and accounting.
• Effective written communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analytics basics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the month-end, quarterly and full-year forecast/reports, including reporting packages, monthly close package, scorecard and indicators, ensuring capital and EBIT forecasts are reflected.
• Assist in preparation of various reports and ad-hoc requests and communicate actual performance vs budget/plan/goals.
• Function as a member of Exelon finance team with proper classification (O&M vs Capital) and compliance with policies.
• Liaise with business units to ensure efficient information exchange.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and assist in updating long-range and budget models.
