Job summary

Exelon in Chicago seeks a Senior Tax Analyst to support the tax life cycle across accounting, compliance, forecasting and regulatory reporting. You will perform technical research, draft memorandums, and help implement process improvements while ensuring timely tax positions and filings.

Based in the Chicago headquarters, you will collaborate with finance and regulatory teams to deliver accurate tax reporting for income and TOTIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline.
• 4+ years of professional tax experience in a corporate/public setting.
• Ability to perform intermediate level legal research.
• Working knowledge of federal and state tax law.

Responsibilities

• Support interim and annual tax accounting to ensure accurate reporting for income and TOTIT.
• Assist with federal/state income tax calculations, returns, extensions, and notices.
• Support tax forecasting and scenario modeling.
• Assist regulatory filing processes including rate cases and regulatory data requests.
• Research complex tax issues and draft memorandums and presentations.
