Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Finance Planning professional to actively participate in accurate planning, reporting and analysis. This role supports directors and department heads with ad hoc requests, ensuring alignment of capital and EBIT in planning tools.

Key duties include month-end, quarterly and full-year forecasts, internal and external reporting, budget development and cross-unit liaison to improve information exchange.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in finance or related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Analytical understanding of finance and accounting.
• Effective written communication.
• Strong computer-based analytical skills, especially Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end, quarterly and full-year forecasts and reports.
• Assist in preparing internal and external reports and respond to data requests.
• Ensure proper financial classification (O&M vs Capital) and policy compliance.
• Liaise with business units to improve information exchange.
• Participate in annual budgeting and long-range planning models.
