Job summary

TIAA is seeking an Associate Financial Consultant to provide virtual financial planning and advisory services to participants, new entrants, prospects, beneficiaries, and their representatives. You will work within the Individual Advisory Center, focusing on regional structures and delivering guidance via phone and video chat to help clients achieve short- and long-term objectives.

During training you are non-exempt and hourly with overtime.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in financial services or advisory
Experience with retirement planning and investment options preferred
Series 7 and Series 63 registrations are required or in progress

Responsibilities

Answers participant questions on pension plans, tax–deferred annuities, and investment options to help clients retain and grow assets.
Educates and facilitates product purchases (mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529/403b, bank products, life insurance).
Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and process transactions.
Uses tax and investment knowledge to tailor financial advice to clients' needs and objectives.
Collaborates with cross‑business teams to develop and implement TIAA products and services.
