Job summary

Fick Supply is seeking a Manager of Financial Operations to lead the accounting function for a local Missouri business. You will oversee financial accounting, reporting, close processes, banking and cash management, payroll oversight, and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will supervise AP and AR specialists, strengthen internal controls, document SOPs, and drive process improvements while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliable financial operations for the company.

Qualifications

• Experience managing general accounting, close, and financial reporting.
• Strong internal controls mindset and process-improvement skills.
• Experience supervising accounting or finance personnel.
• Ability to meet recurring compliance deadlines with organized documentation.
• Clear communication with employees, vendors, banks, and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Manage integrity of financial accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, adjustments, and consolidations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities and support schedules.
• Prepare or oversee financial statements and management reporting.
• Support external accounting, tax, and audit requests with accurate records.
