Job summary

SP+ is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team in Kansas City, MO. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, payroll processing, and general accounting functions including AR/AP and month-end close.

Responsibilities include internal auditing oversight, staff management, and ensuring accurate revenue reporting and reconciliation. A Bachelor's in Accounting and 4+ years of experience are required, with advanced Excel and payroll system experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 4+ years of accounting experience
• Prior management or supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Working knowledge of Quicken or AS400
• 10-Key proficiency
• Experience with Workforce Now or similar payroll system
• Experience with time & attendance biometric software is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage time

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and budgets, perform variance analysis
• Oversee AR/AP, reconciliations, and cash management
• Administer financial management systems and integrate new applications
• Manage internal audit staff and revenue reporting
• Handle monthly parker billing and reconciliations
• Complete month and year-end reporting
