Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and five+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting theory; detail oriented.
• Leadership experience and ability to work independently with minimum direction.
• CPA certification preferred; experience with Sage 300 for Construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting processes and month-end close for the construction and service units.
• Supervise accounting staff; manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and job costing.
• Review open projects, service work orders, and prepare financial statements.
• Support audits, implement process improvements, and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting on month-end close and reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls and performance feedback for team members.
• Ensure timely reporting and adherence to tax registrations and requirements.
