Job summary

Washington State University seeks a Fiscal Technician 1 to support ITS fiscal and administrative functions within Administrative & Financial Services. You will perform data entry, account reconciliations, purchasing support, and maintain financial records under close supervision to ensure compliance with policies.

The role is full time, 100% FTE, and eligible for overtime, with a salary range monthly from $3,195 to $4,201 depending on experience and placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; typing experience or equivalent education/experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry and financial recordkeeping
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide essential fiscal and administrative support to ITS Administrative & Financial Services
• Perform data entry, account reconciliations, purchasing support, and maintain financial records
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and WSU policies and procedures
• Assist in financial operations to support department objectives
