Job summary

One Federal Solution seeks a Financial Specialist I to support financial execution, procurement monitoring, spend plan management, and tasker data management in a fast-paced government environment.

You will collaborate closely with government financial managers and stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate processing of financial transactions, procurement packages, and related reports, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and data quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Navy-ERP and the Execution Website.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies.
• Ability to produce accurate, professional reports and validate data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency in Excel; Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook also required.

Responsibilities

• Financial Transaction Execution: draft, initiate, and process transactions within three business days.
• Procurement Monitoring: track procurement packages to completion and verify receipts.
• Spend Plan Management: maintain spend plans in designated systems per requirements.
• Financial Discrepancy Resolution: identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies with action steps.
• Work Product Generation: produce accurate financial reports, analyses, and statements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: coordinate with IT and BFM to resolve submissions and gather details.
• Tasker Data Management: collect, validate, and update tasker trackers daily.
