Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; accounting coursework preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in accounting/bookkeeping; public school finance preferred.
• Proficient with financial management systems and MS Office.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand and apply federal/state regulations, district policy and internal control.
• Ability to pass a business/finance skills test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations within the Finance Department.
• Prepare monthly Board agenda items and financial reports.
• Support employee travel unit; prepare travel reimbursements for Accounts Payable.
• Handle collection/receipts and posting of daily deposits.
• Process internal budget adjustments for sub-allocations.
• Review and monitor reimbursements/payments for all funds.
• Manage vendor accounts to ensure timely payments; resolve disputes.
• Audit documentation for correct pay amounts and compliance.
• Maintain master file for Special Revenue Funds and related reports.
• Assist in District Audit and training on InfiniteVISIONS modules.
