Responsibilities

• Financial Process Management: Oversee and streamline financial processes, including billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements. Develop and reconcile monthly Borderaux reports and maintain relationship with Carrier operations.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Internal Controls: Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including potential bad debt and regulatory non-compliance.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as underwriting, claims, and actuarial, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Systems and Technology: Manage the financial operations of Underwriting systems and technologies.
• Staff Management: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields
• 5-10 years experience in a similar role, preferably in insurance
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
