Specialized Dental Partners is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead monthly accounting and finance activities for their division. You will supervise the month-end close, prepare operating reports, forecasts, and annual budgets, and support strategic decisions.

This role requires a strong accounting background, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel: VLookup, pivot tables, ad hoc modeling.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close and provide accurate data.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial statements.
• Review variances and advise corrective actions.
• Support operations team to drive timely decisions.
• Mentor accounting staff and conduct training.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation per policy.
• Analyze business outcomes vs prior periods and budgets.
• Assist in planning and implementing improved business processes.
