The Division of Transportation Solutions in Delaware is seeking a Fiscal Associate II to support complex auditing and accounting functions. The role involves monitoring fiscal data, compiling reports for Traffic projects, and processing transactions in the FSF system in compliance with laws and regulations.

It includes paying and tracking invoices for large electricity accounts. Applicants must have basic accounting experience or an associate degree in Accounting or related field.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience in processing accounting, auditing or payroll transactions.
• Six months' experience in determining compliance of financial transactions with required documentation, computations, codes, signatures, rules or regulations.
• Six months’ experience in preparing financial reports such as combining and presenting financial data from multiple sources.

Responsabilités

• Reviews forms and source documents to complete purchase orders and ensure documentation in compliance with procedures.
• Verifies or determines correct classification and coding of transactions.
• Uses information systems to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve and report data.
• Performs calculations, monitors balances and reports discrepancies.
• Creates and maintains financial records and files.
• Prepares reports and summaries on the status of accounts or other financial data.
• Gathers and compiles data for higher-level staff.
• May perform payroll entries.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
