Job summary

DelDOT is seeking a Fiscal Associate II to prepare, review, and create fiscal documents for the Division of Parks and Recreation. You will handle payment vouchers, purchase orders, intergovernmental vouchers, and reconcile credit card transactions and encumbrances.

The role involves updating Excel files, verifying accuracy, and ensuring compliant account reporting. Responsibilities include creating financial records, producing status reports, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Six months' experience in processing accounting, auditing or payroll transactions.
• Six months' experience in determining compliance of financial transactions with required documentation and codes.
• Six months’ experience in preparing financial reports from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and verify documentation for accuracy.
• Code and classify financial transactions correctly.
• Enter and update data in accounting systems and Excel spreadsheets.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for accounts.
