Job summary

Givens Communities in Asheville, NC seeks a Financial Operations Applications Analyst to bridge finance and technology, owning the financial applications portfolio through its full life cycle and governing AI capabilities within financial workflows.

You will oversee administration, upgrades, reporting, and security, and support month-end close from a systems perspective while coordinating with teams to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or related field
• 3–5 years of progressive experience administering enterprise business applications
• 2+ years in accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, payroll, close)
• 1+ years working with AI tools in business applications
• Experience with upgrades, patches, vendor support cases, and change management
• Experience building and supporting integrations between business systems
• Experience writing reports and data analysis using SQL or similar tools
• Experience in healthcare/senior living or regulated environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator and escalation point for financial operations application systems and reporting platform
• Own each application through full life cycle: installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, enhancement, support, and training
• Maintain and update workflows, dashboards, saved reports, roles, and permissions
• Ensure responsible use of AI in financial workflows conforming to policy and privacy
• Support month-end and year-end close from a systems perspective including schedules and batch jobs
• Plan, test, validate upgrades and patches; coordinate maintenance windows and rollback plans
• Audit user access and licensing to improve security and control spend
• Research emerging technologies relevant to financial operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
