Job summary

Carolina Exteriors in Apex, NC is seeking an Accounting & Business Systems Manager to own day-to-day financial operations and administer BuilderTrend and QuickBooks Online.

You will lead AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and project costing while driving AI-enabled automation to improve data accuracy, timeliness, and reporting for leadership. This is an on-site role reporting to the CEO with cross-functional collaboration across the leadership team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting operations experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
• Demonstrated experience improving, automating, or documenting business processes.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing customers accurately and ensuring timely collections.
• Process vendor bills and support payment runs; perform AP/AR reconciliations.
• Maintain complete financial records with proper documentation and controls.
• Identify discrepancies and elevate financial risks promptly.
• Serve as system owner for BuilderTrend and QuickBooks Online, ensuring data integrity.
