DC Restaurant Group, headquartered in Arlington, VA, seeks an Operations Analyst to support four restaurant brands across its corporate office. You will analyze restaurant performance using back-office data, identify opportunities, and collaborate with leaders to drive profitability across locations.

Responsibilities include reviewing costs, inventory and sales reports, creating Excel-based analyses, and presenting clear findings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations analysis, financial analysis, restaurant analytics, inventory analysis, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large amounts of data.
• Ability to identify trends and translate data into useful business insights.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit experience is a plus.
• Experience with Workday or similar financial reporting systems is a plus.

Financial Operations Analyst - Restaurant Operations

Location: Arlington, VA - In Person

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support our multi-brand restaurant organization. This role will work across all four of our restaurant brands, using data from our back-office and financial systems to identify trends, improve restaurant performance, and help operational leaders better understand areas of opportunity.

The Operations Analyst will work closely with our operational leaders and Director of Finance to analyze restaurant performance, with a particular focus on lower-performing locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze restaurant data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement
• Review food cost, inventory, waste, theft, discounts, and sales reporting
• Use Excel to analyze data and create reports for operational and financial leadership
• Access Workday and other back-office systems for financial and restaurant reporting
• Identify unusual trends or variances and help determine potential causes
• Partner with operational leaders to turn data into actionable recommendations
• Assist with improving inventory processes, controls, and overall restaurant profitability
• Present findings in a clear and understandable way to leadership
• Light travel will be required, particularly in the beginning, to visit restaurant locations and gain a better understanding of our inventory procedures and day-to-day operational processes

This is a full-time, in-person position based at our corporate office in Arlington, VA. The office is conveniently located near a Metro station, and parking is available.
