Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Budget Analyst for the Headquarters Comptroller Division of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC). The role requires coordinating with Headquarters staff to develop annual spend plans for programs of record and supporting financial operations across the command.

The successful candidate will issue accurate financial documents, monitor obligations, and maintain audit-ready records while ensuring compliance with fiscal laws and DoD directives.

Duties

• You will serve as a Budget Analyst in the Headquarters Comptroller Division, Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC).
• You will coordinate with and provide guidance, advice, and support to Headquarters staff to develop and execute annual spend plans for specific programs of record.
• You will issue timely and accurate financial documents; actively monitor obligation rates and open commitments; maintain documentation in support of audit requirements.
• You will ensure compliance with fiscal law, financial management regulations, higher headquarters directives, and published policy.
• You will conduct financial analysis; facilitate resolution of errors and common problems within the financial system of record.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
• This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
