Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience.
  • Knowledge of financial aid processes, budgeting, and financial planning for disadvantaged youth.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with students experiencing financial difficulties.
  • Assist with maximizing financial aid packages and FAFSA (including FAFSA workshops).
  • Provide financial literacy counseling and guidance on loan debt.
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid office for student support.
  • Identify funding sources and assist students in securing educational funding.
  • Develop and conduct financial literacy and planning workshops.
  • Support program evaluations and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation to meet federal guidelines.
  • Participate in university committees impacting SSS-eligible participants.
