Job summary

Chubb Ltd. in the United States region seeks a Financial Lines Claims Adjuster to manage FI, E&O, EPL, Cyber, Environmental and D&O claims from notification to resolution, including coverage analysis, liability, reserving and settlement.

You will negotiate with claimants and coordinate with underwriters, legal teams and external providers, demonstrating sound judgment, fairness to customers and strong service standards in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and managing claims exposure to determine action and settlements.
• Commitment to superior customer service and quality claims handling.
• Knowledge of insurance policy provisions and applicable law.
• Experience collaborating with underwriters and brokers on claims issues and market trends.

Responsibilities

• Exercise judgment to analyze claims exposure, negotiate and settle with claimants and payers.
• Support claims management and ensure the claims function runs effectively with strong customer service.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in claims handling and identify suspect/fraudulent claims.
• Collaborate with internal teams, brokers and external providers to gather information for claims benefit.
• Assist supervisor with larger or more complex claims when needed.
• Maintain relationships with external providers to ensure high service standards and costs adequacy.
• Proficient in coverage knowledge and litigation management of diverse procedures.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
