Qualifications

• Seven or more years of casualty claims experience with high exposure construction claims.
• Experience with primary and excess bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury claims.
• Strong background in handling significant coverage matters.
• Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and learn across diverse subjects.
• Decision making based on detailed analyses in complex issues.
• Law degree is not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of claims involving moderate severity exposures and coverage issues.
• Coordinate investigation into loss facts, damages and risk transfer opportunities.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages to determine exposure.
• Analyze coverage and communicate positions within authority.
• Implement defense, resolution and claim strategies.
• Provide superior customer service to insureds, agents, and partners.
• Adhere to Best Practices Guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Travel to conferences, mediations, and trials as necessary.
