Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking a financial professional to turn data into actionable insights. In this role, you will reconcile accounts, prepare reports, monitor revenue and expenses, and support budgets, audits and regulatory reporting.

You will work with teams across the organization to tell a clear financial story, prepare financial information for management and external parties, and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP using tools like Excel and PeopleSoft.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial information and review for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs detailed analysis when necessary.
• Contribute to account reconciliations, impact studies, audit findings, budgets and business cases.
• Assist with preparation of various financial or regulatory reports for management and external parties.
• Prepare financial reporting for a division or segment linking financial information from various sources.
• Process financial transactions including journal entries and invoices; develop desk-level procedures.
• Interface with departments and respond to ad hoc requests.
• Perform other assignments or duties as directed by management.
