Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Four (4) or more years of experience in a related field required.
• Two (2) years of BCBSM work experience to ensure full knowledge of business systems required.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of competitors, techniques and methodologies required in related field.
• Knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word).
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Ability to interface and communicate with employees at all levels.
• Understand and apply basic financial analysis and modeling.
• Ability to gather and analyze data and create visualizations.
• Knowledge of key business metrics (i.e. financial results, membership, HMO market).
• Ability to create engaging presentations - Ability to communicate and maintain effective relationships across the enterprise.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business needs and priorities

Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, analyze, and maintain data to evaluate issues affecting profitability and growth.
• Coordinate projects for senior management.
• Develop, design, and administer procedures to assess operational effectiveness.
• Identify and monitor issues/trends impacting profitability and strategic objectives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for Performance Office and senior management meetings.
• Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders throughout the planning cycle.
