Job summary

Citizens Business Bank is seeking a Financial Analyst to collect, analyze, and report on financial data, projections, and results to support executive decision-making.

You will reconcile data from multiple sources, identify variances and trends, and prepare board-level financial reports, while maintaining databases and developing automated processes to boost productivity. Strong Excel and MS Office skills are required to communicate findings effectively to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field, or 0–2 years experience.
• Advanced degree desired, but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial modeling and budgeting/forecasting.
• Proficient in Excel and general Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SQL and Crystal Reports a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report on financial data, projections, and results.
• Reconcile data between sources and validate accuracy.
• Identify financial status by comparing results with plans and forecasts.
• Improve financial status by analyzing variances, trends, and recommending actions.
• Prepare financial reporting for the Board of Directors and executive management.
• Prepare various financial reports as directed by FP&A Manager.
• Maintain databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Increase productivity by developing automated processes and software applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to customers.
