Job summary

Job description

The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst is responsible for providing forecasts and financial analysis, partnering with Finance and Business Partners to develop detailed budgets and forecasts, and tracking and reporting performance against budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide financial products and services and act as a business advisor and partner to various business units.
  • Initiate, collect, compile, and integrate business data to inform forecasts and budgets.
  • Execute variance analysis and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to senior leadership.
  • Make recommendations for business unit/program financial and performance improvements.
  • Lead and support the development of business cases using appropriate financial indices and coordinate with other stakeholders.
  • Utilize insightful analysis to support decision making and drive business results.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of internal senior leadership reports.
Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and advanced understanding of forecast modeling.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 4–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, business, or a related role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform in a collaborative team environment and independently.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

The work environment required entails frequently sitting and occasionally standing. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The role requires operating a computer keyboard and mouse, with a moderate noise level.
