Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Financial Engineer in Westlake Village, CA, to develop data-driven solutions for Retail Lending. You will leverage SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Python/R to improve targeting, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making across the portfolio.

You will partner with Sales, Operations, Capital Markets, and IT to automate reporting, validate data quality, and deliver actionable insights to leadership and frontline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred.
• 1+ years of related experience within finance or lending analytics.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Excel and Excel VBA.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis using R or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable datasets and SQL processes to support Retail Lending operations.
• Build Power BI dashboards and KPI scorecards for leadership and frontline teams.
• Translate business needs into data-driven analytical solutions and recommendations.
