Qualifikationen

• Bilingual in English and another language is a plus.
• Knowledge of credit, debt, money management, savings and safe financial products.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Available to work some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to use a client management database.
• Cultural humility and inclusive coaching mindset.

Aufgaben

• Assess client needs and develop individual financial action plans with each client.
• Provide individualized financial counseling sessions and achieve client outcomes.
• Make appropriate referrals and integrate other wraparound supports (benefits, tax prep) into counseling to achieve greater results.
• Engage in ongoing relationship building with clients to ensure attendance and outcomes.
• Become familiar with FECBOT database, including data entry and weekly reports.
• Complete training and participate in ongoing professional development to earn required certifications.
• Follow confidentiality protocols and the national Financial Empowerment Center model.
• Represent the FEC at community events.
• Adhere to safety policies and attend safety trainings.
