Operation HOPE seeks a Financial Wellbeing Coach – Credit & Money Management in Chicago. The role drives financial dignity through coaching, workshops and resources, delivering in-person, virtual, or phone sessions to support clients’ budgeting, debt management, and savings goals.

You will build personalized action plans, partner with banks and nonprofits, and facilitate community programs to expand financial literacy and access to services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years in financial services.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation, communication, and time-management skills.
• Empathy and patience with diverse populations.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching sessions in-person, via video, or by phone.
• Develop personalized action plans for clients’ financial goals.
• Educate on budgeting, debt, savings, and financial literacy topics.
• Lead or assist workshops and group seminars in the community.
• Build relationships with local partners and bank networks.
• Track client progress using Dynamics CRM.
• Refer clients to community resources and programs.
• Maintain accurate client activity records and reporting.
• Attend community events to promote financial empowerment.
