Job summary

Operation HOPE, a national nonprofit, seeks a Financial Wellbeing Coach – Credit & Money Management to empower clients with budgeting, debt management, and savings strategies. Based in a HOPE Inside office, you will lead coaching sessions, deliver workshops, and build community partnerships to expand financial dignity and opportunity.

You will educate clients, maintain CRM records in Dynamics, and collaborate with local partners to deliver impactful programs in the Springfield, VA area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2+ years in financial industry.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to conduct workshops with a varying number of attendees.
• High-energy, confident, accountable, and professional with integrity and respect for diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Empathetic and patient with diverse backgrounds.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction.
• Personal transportation for travel within the designated market area.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one financial coaching sessions in-person, by video conference, or over the phone.
• Facilitate group workshops and seminars on financial literacy topics.
• Develop personalized action plans based on client needs.
• Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, and savings strategies.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor client progress in Dynamics.
