Job summary

Rockland Trust is offering a Financial Education Summer Intern position to support financial wellness initiatives across local communities. You will help create educational resources, assist with workshops, and collaborate on programs that empower individuals to manage money more effectively.

You'll work with banking and community engagement professionals, gaining hands-on experience in education, outreach, and stakeholder collaboration while building career-ready skills for a future in finance

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage diverse audiences and present information clearly.
Interest in financial literacy, community outreach, and education.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist planning, organizing, and supporting financial education workshops and events.
Help develop educational materials on budgeting, saving, and credit.
Support creation of presentations, handouts, and digital resources.
Assist with research on financial education trends and community needs.
Track participation and program results to measure outreach impact.
Coordinate logistics for education events and community programs.
