Job summary

Rockland Trust in Massachusetts is offering a summer internship in our Customer Information Center (Call Center). You’ll work in-office at multiple locations and gain hands-on experience delivering banking services and friendly customer support.

As you collaborate on a summer project with fellow interns, you will develop communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills while building relationships with colleagues and leaders across the bank.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service mindset with a desire to help others.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Effective organization and time-management skills.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions related to banking products, services, online banking, loans, checking accounts, and more.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and solution-focused customer service.
• Help identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate banking solutions.
• Build confidence navigating customer conversations and resolving inquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support customer and business needs.
• Participate in community outreach and volunteer activities that reflect Rockland Trust's commitment to giving back.
• Contribute to collaborative summer intern projects alongside fellow interns.
