Job summary

ForceBrands is seeking an experienced finance leader in New Jersey to own financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting for its growing consumer products portfolio. You will translate growth plans into clear cash requirements and provide leadership with visibility into margins, COGS and EBITDA.

In this role you will partner with the executive team, build scalable processes, and collaborate with the outsourced accounting partner while helping to shape an internal finance team as the business

Qualifications

• Finance experience within CPG
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and analysis in a high-growth environment
• Experience supporting growth and increasing operational complexity
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding of cash flow, balance sheets, gross margins, COGS and EBITDA
• Independent hands-on finance leader and strategic partner to the executive team
• NetSuite experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models across products, unit economics, trade spend, wholesale activity and broader operating assumptions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning, translating growth plans and promotional calendars into financial outlooks and cash requirements
• Develop recurring financial reporting and analysis that provides leadership with visibility into performance, gross margins, COGS, EBITDA, risks and opportunities
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve the accuracy of financial inputs and support strategic business decisions
• Own cash-flow analysis, balance-sheet visibility and the financial implications of continued retail, product and promotional expansion.
• Establish scalable finance processes, controls and reporting cadences while ensuring the accuracy of existing financial work.
• Partner with the company’s outsourced accounting firm and help build an internal finance team as the business grows.

Candidate Profile

• Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of cash flow, balance sheets, gross margins, COGS and EBITDA.
• Comfortable operating independently as a hands-on finance leader while serving as a strategic partner to the executive team.
• NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.
