Macquarie Group in Houston seeks an experienced risk advisory professional to lead governance and operational delivery of financial crime risk activities across the Americas. You will coordinate inquiries, support due diligence reviews, and ensure timely documentation and escalation handling.

The role emphasizes governance, reporting, and control improvements, requiring strong stakeholder management and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, financial crime risk or a related control function.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a regulated environment.
• Experience supporting financial crime, compliance, risk management or other control functions, including operational enquiries and escalations.
• Experience preparing procedures, governance documentation, management reporting or other compliance related materials.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Experience producing reporting, metrics, dashboards and presentations for senior management and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational enquiries and escalations across the region.
• Support customer due diligence reviews and other financial crime activities.
• Coordinate internal audits, regulatory reviews and action tracking.
• Contribute to governance forums, reporting and quality assurance activities.
• Identify recurring themes and opportunities to improve processes, consistency and efficiency.
