This position requires collaboration with physicians, medical providers, and patients, providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time remote Financial Counselor in our NY office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

How You'll Contribute:

• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
• Perform benefit verification and prior authorization tasks
• Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients, acting as an educator, advocate, and liaison
• Maintain patient accounts by updating personal financial and insurance information

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience, with knowledge of healthcare billing, collections, insurance/benefits, and patient interaction
• Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice, differentiating charges, adjustments, denials, and patient responsibilities
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills; detail-oriented and customer-focused
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel
