Job summary

Temple-Health is seeking a Part-Time Financial Counselor to support patients with financial, credit, and debt management counseling and education services at our Philadelphia campus.

You will verify insurance eligibility, explore coverage options for uninsured or underinsured patients, and perform complex administrative tasks to help minimize bad debt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years in financial counseling or a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 5 years in a clerical role.
• Experience with hospital registration and third-party billing regulations is required or preferred.
