• Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance and professional reception area.
• Monitor and respond to emails and voicemails; check daily schedules and fill gaps.
• Prepare end-of-day reports and deposits.

Job PurposeTreatment Planning Coordinators are responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits, communicating with patients about treatment cost, generating and presenting financial arrangements to patients, processing payments, and maintaining a productive and efficient schedule.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and present clear and reliable treatment plans for patients, including presenting financial options to patients and documenting the final financial arrangementSecure appropriate documentation from patients and store in applicable software(s)Build strong relationships with patients and support activities that grow the practiceReconcile invoices, identify discrepancies, and check reports for accuracyDocument clear and reliable billing activity in internal databases and reporting software(s)Receive and sort incoming payments with attention to accuracy and timelineManage the status of accounts and balances; strong ability to identify inconsistenciesProcessing and posting patient paymentsIssue invoices and receipts to patientsUpdate the accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed paymentsCoordinate with Central Billing and Medical Billing teams to ensure proper billing and collectionsMaintaining a professional reception areaMonitoring and replying to emails and voicemailsChecking daily appointment schedules and filling gaps to ensure positive productionPreparing end-of-day reports and depositsMaintaining OSHA and HIPAA CompliancePerform all other duties as assignedEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferredExperience: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required; prior dental experience preferredWorking conditions:Dental practices run at a fast pace and treatment coordinators will be required to keep up with the flow ofdoctors and patients.Physical requirements:Treatment Coordinators will be required to:Sit for long periodsLook at a computer screen for extended periodsStand for long periods.Lifting up to 50 poundsReports to: Area Director of Operations / Operations ManagerDirect reports: None
