Job summary

Leoforce is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, the general ledger, and the month-end close. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and collaboration with leadership across departments.

You will supervise accounting staff, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help strengthen financial processes and accountability within the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Lead the monthly close, including journal entries, accruals, and account review.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Produce monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Assist with budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow and overall financial activity for trends and issues.
• Oversee grants, restricted funds, and nonprofit accounting considerations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting documentation.
• Supervise, train, and review accounting staff.
