Job summary

SPS is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee controllership for one of our North America business lines. You will manage monthly close, forecasting, and financial reporting, partnering with Operations, Sales and Finance leadership to drive performance and strengthen controls.

The role combines hands-on accounting with process improvement, requiring strong Excel skills, SAP ERP experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years in accounting/finance with controllership exposure.
• Progress toward CPA or CPA preferred.
• Strong experience with financial reporting and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly P&L and forecasting for the assigned business line.
• Prepare, review and analyze financial reports, identifying trends and variances.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide financial analysis related to contracts, revenue, costs and profitability.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards and tools.
• Partner with Operations, Sales and other stakeholders to drive planning and performance.
