Job summary

JET PARTS ENGINEERING LLC seeks a Financial Controller to lead finance operations for its aerospace manufacturing and parts solutions business. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close; ensure accurate GAAP reporting; and maintain robust internal controls to meet FAA and regulatory expectations.

Partner with operations, engineering, and sales to analyze product margins, inventory, and capital investments. Oversee cash management, audits, and tax coordination.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Own cost accounting, product margin, and inventory analysis for manufacturing operations.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
  • Coordinate external audits and support tax compliance with external advisors.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and sales on pricing, investments, and profitability improvement.
  • Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reports for leadership.
  • Optimize and administer ERP/accounting systems and related financial processes.
  • Support strategic initiatives, MRO/airline customer deals, and continuous process improvements.
