  • Serve as the main liaison with auditors, tax advisers, and service providers.
  • Provide financial insights and risk guidance to support executive decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations & Close
  • Manage day‑to‑day accounting, month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.
  • Oversee AR/AP, payroll, revenue recognition, fixed assets, and cash management.
  • Produce accurate, GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
  • Improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls.
  • Ensure federal, state, and local tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle commission reporting and revenue reconciliations.
  • Manage equity transactions and cap table updates.
  • Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.
Systems & Infrastructure
  • Assess and upgrade financial systems, including ERP and automation tools.
  • Optimize reporting speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Build accounting capabilities for potential international operations.
Strategic Partnership
  • Advise the CFO and executive team on financial strategy and risk.
  • Support banking, treasury, financing, and investor processes.
  • Help structure accounting, tax, and compliance for new markets.
Experience & Background
  • 8+ years in accounting/finance, including audit experience; CPA required.
  • Proven experience building or improving an accounting function.
  • High‑growth or venture‑/PE‑backed company experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of equity accounting, cap tables, and complex revenue models.
  • Strong technical accounting and GAAP expertise.
  • Process‑oriented and detail‑driven; able to create reliable, scalable workflows.
  • Clear communicator who translates accounting info for non‑finance teams.
  • High ownership mentality; proactive and self‑directed.
What We Offer
  • Full ownership of a critical finance function with strategic impact.
  • Equity participation and direct access to leadership.
