Strata Landscape Services is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead a growing accounting team and refine processes during a period of rapid expansion in Southern California. The role oversees month-end close, GAAP reporting, and cross-branch financial controls while supporting acquisitions and integration.
You will manage a distributed team across branches, drive budgeting and cash forecasting, and partner with executives and PE sponsors to deliver accurate financial data for decision-making.
Strata is looking for an extraordinarily talented individual to join our corporate finance team as
our Corporate Controller. We are looking for someone excited by the opportunity to lead a
growing team in accounting, and developing and refining processes through an exciting phase
of accelerated growth as we scale from $20M to $200M in revenue over the next few years.
Strata is a private equity-backed company with a mandate to grow rapidly through both
acquisitions and organic sales. To help manage that growth, our accounting team will be a key
in ensuring we have accurate and insightful data for decision-making. As the accounting leader,
you'll be responsible for hiring, training and mentoring great people in our branch locations to
record and deliver financial results in a timely manner each month, coordinating with branch
managers across our portfolio, and supporting a budgeting process that informs critical
decisions by the executive team.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Financial Controller to help build a strong financial foundation for the next stage of Strata's growth.
This role will be based in Southern California and will follow a hybrid working model. There is flexibility to work from home as scheduling permits, but there is an expectation to spend a couple of days per week working alongside our teams at our branches.
Strata currently operates branches in San Diego, Los Angeles, Ventura County, and Salt Lake City. The Financial Controller should expect semi-frequent travel between branches, including periodic travel to Salt Lake City.
